Had a problem today!
Engine warning light came on and it went into limp mode. Took it to a mechanic I know and he plugged into the diagnostic programme. Cylinder 1 was misfiring. He took the cool out of it and it was full of water and the spark plug had welded itself and he couldn't get it out.
He then cleared most of the water out and sealed the coil.
He reckons the water is coming from the join in the panel below the windscreen wipers and when you look at it, it is right above the first cylinders.
Apparently it was a problem on one of the old scenics aswell!
Okay for now thought.
Just wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem?

Scuttle panel leak is a common problem. There are threads about it on here already.

Thought they might have fixed this on the Facelift model but I had mine in just before Christmas to get sorted. The car was only just over 2 years old.

If you see my picture thread it's the cause of a blown spark plug and two trips on a recovery wagon!
