Found a set of brilliant alloys for an absolute steal but they are 4x114.3... Would wheel adapters work for this or is an absolute no go??

PCD adaptors are probably 20mm thick, like the bolt on type spacers.

Bearing in mind on standard width 7" rims, rubbing starts to be a slight issue at ET43, getting worse up to ET35 which is a definite candidate for rubbing tyres.

Unless your new wheels narrower or have ET greater than 55 then I would keep looking.

7j et35 they are, would they work you reckon?
With an adaptor on there as well, that would be like fitting a 7j ET15 wheel... 40mm further out than standard.

without dropping down to something like a 165 tyre like Ollie133cup and having a lot of stretch, or reworking the rear arches, no, it wont work well with standard sized rubber. If your willing to compromise on potential rubbing, speak to kevin (Ghostz) who has a Dini with stretched rubber
