I may go with mintex 1144 as I use them in the rally car.
They have been a good benchmark for about 20 years since they superseded M177
If there's 133 sized pads

should the m1144 be available then i can get them for you. i'll reply to this tomorrow with a firm answer off course

the part number for the twingo gt is # MDB1628M1144 and are around £70

do you mean your current discs made turned black? don't believe so, it would cost you a bomb anyway. i believe it's something to do with some fancy kind of poly fibers which they heat tread and they turn black but don't hold me to that. a set of front brembo max won't run you too much £ anyway :)

Yeah my work place sends things to get blackened. Could sneak them in on the next delivery ;). I was going to get some new ones anyway. So will get black ones if I can (y)

Just a quick one. Can you get brake discs blackened?
Speak to Mtec - they offer coated disc which I've got fitted, don't have the Silver as it's not as stable as the black, mine have been on for 8 months and there is no rust showing, I'm running dimpled and slotted with yellow stuff pads which work OK for the way I drive my car - make an interesting singing noise when braking hard

I run the Godspeed grooved front discs with Ds2500 pads. The discs come with black painted centres to stop them rusting and they still look good after 18 months.

Thought id post in here rather than making a new thread:

Looking at changing my front discs & pads over soon, whats a decent setup to use? Will be mostly road driving with the occasional track day.
Been looking at:

Pads:

Discs:

OR

https://www.mtecbrakes.com/brake-discs/renault/twingo-07-12/twingo-1-2-tce-09-07-05-12.html

Would i need the Mtec discs or are they a bit overkill? & Are the pads a decent option or is there better for the same price/cheaper?

Thanks :D

Ordered Mtec discs, dimpled & grooved, with the black coating, along with EBC yellow stuff pads :D
