Looks like a fine collection there mate, it's surprising when you add up how much you spend on stuff like this. I couldn't even remember all the gear I have to list it.

This is pretty much my collection although bought some new bits since this pic as well as the bigger stuff like the Karcher not in the pic.

I'm not sure there's such a thing as too much hahaha

Thing is though, I've got stuff I've not got round to opening. Once I've found a combination of products I tend to stick with it. lol

Thing is I don't understand those people who go for Fairy Liquid and a knackered old sponge.

That's not a dig at anyone on here I just mean that people love their cars, they cost them money yet they're only prepared to spend pence on cleaning them.

I would say you could get enough decent products for under £40 to keep a car looking shiny and protected for years.

The dodo gear I currently use the most:

Born To Be Mild
Sour Power
Supernatural Shampoo
Tarmalade
Dodo Detailing Buckets (wash, rinse & wheels)
Red Mist Tropical
Mellow Yellow
Basics Clay
Born Slippy
Lime Prime
Purple Haze Pro
Blue Velvet Pro
Supernatural Wax
Supernatural Rotary Backing Plate
Clearly Menthol
Supernatural Glass Polish
Supernatural Glass Sealant
Supernatural Wash Sponge

I actually use Fairy Liquid when I'm going to wax the car (before shampoo)... Helps to strip off all the muck and also the previous products. :)

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fairy washing up liquid kills your lacquer :(

Washing-up liquid is a powerful cleaner and degreaser, but the problem with it is that it contains Sodium Chloride (salt) which is used to add to the viscosity. It may also contain amonia.

Salt makes water a better conductor of electricity and because the process of oxidization is an electrical process, the addition of salt to your car’s bodywork speeds up this process. Oxidization is bad for both your paintwork and metalwork.

Washing-up liquid may also contain other chemicals such as solvents, surfactants, colourings and preservatives which may be fine for your dishes and hands, but may not be so good for your car.

Relax, it's not going to do any damage :) It goes on, soaks for a few mins then gets jet washed off followed by shampoo. It doesn't have a chance to damage paintwork.
