its not far considering one's from Elgin/Aberdeen will take around 2-3 hours to drive down to Perth alone never mind Glasgow .. need to think whats best for all scottish members not just a select few ..

Yeah, your right, its a bit far :? Being as the weather is probably going to be crap, probably 2/3 of the people backing out a couple of days before the meet and another one or two just not turning up, me not having fixed dates for working, I wouldn't want to influence anything then not be able to make it... I think I'll just back out now.

I have and will travel to any meet, but I'm not traveling solely because someone else can't be arsed. Sorry its a bit blunt!

I am of the same opinion as Neil (Singlespeed)

Perth is a fair trip for us northerners. Compaired To the glasgow area folks.It's not being unfair us wanting to meet (logically) half way!

This is ment to b a Scottish meet (well that's wat the title says)
So if ppl dnt want to actually bother trying to have a Scottish meet then it should be re-titled to a more localised regional meet.

I'm not fussed on location .. and to be honest I fancy a change of scenery so I don't mind a drive further up north :) what logically would be halfway?

I totally agree with you and Neil and think that it should be fair and not, as had been said previously, a small journey for some people and a long trek for others .. we should be able to come to a middle point.

Just my 2 pence really but I'm willing to travel as we haven't really had a chance to meet and I've only met a few of the Scottish members so far ..

If anyone wants to suggest a SENSIBLE halfway point then I'm happy to go along :)
 
am the same as kelly happy with watever lol as long as it happens :D missed the last scottish meet and havent had the chance 2 meet any members yet so not fussed on location just hope we get a gd few ppl :D
