Lol, will you be able to handle it when there's a working turbo instead of normal twingo NA?

Shhhh hahaha ok just please don't tell ktec ;) I haven't told them haha
Might I suggest not letting people put pictures of it on the internet then

Not sure how to answer this question tbh ;) my bank balance makes me want to cry though haha

In terms of a cage, I did actually get in contact with monster sport when I had the old car. They were a lot more helpful than Renault uk and sorted me quite a few uprated parts (driveshafts, engine/gearbox mounts ect) from the R1 rally car.

The do a full cage for around £800 however it is for left hand drive (dash bar is wrong). They did say to me that they had looked into getting it swapped and changed but it would have cost a further £500.

If someone wanted to take it on it could be a bit of a project and a really good deal for a full cage

Things are looking up and I have managed to find some funds :)

Car should be back at ktec within the next few weeks for the final stage of the turbo conversion (ecu and mapping)

OMG I'm so exited haha

i'd definitely assume that you'll be lurking somewhere around the 182 in terms of 0-62's with a good 200 + Nm of torque. definitely my favourite 133 in terms of engine snazzyness :D

... dodgy to call it a 133 now though ;)

Haha well when I have a dyno readout I shall change it to whatever it is ;)

I'm confused :s The car is going back to Ktec? They had this car months and failed to complete the conversion. A sweetly running 133 turbo would have been a feather in their cap and given some good press but they decided to ditch it. I'm even more confused if you give it them back and they complete it within a couple of weeks. Why not finish it in the first place?

Good luck to you though I'd love to see this working :)

This will be crazy! Especially turbo all that bang at once you have balls my friend!

Basically they ditched the gen 90 project to focus on the installs for the Clio and megane cus their mapper who knew the car inside and out left :/

But he has agreed to come back to finish mine cus there is not too much left to do and he wants to see it to the end.

At least it's getting done now even if you have to pay for it

Watch those corners!

Hitting full boost on a corner is interesting  what's happening with the clutch also?

At the moment the clutch is staying standard, because there isn't an uprated one for the twingo box that I know of :/ (unless you can point me in the right direction) I called MSE today to ask about the sequential box in the R2 cus that has an AP racing single skin paddle clutch and would be awesome with the joystick shift but my penis disappeared up inside me when I got a price hahah 6k !!!!! Whaaaat.

https://www.clutch-specialists.co.uk/ phone up with your chassis / vin number and request that they search their database. they will have it, the k4m regardless of varients is too common to not have an uprated clutch and will share the same pressure plate and what have you with some other renault models past and present. your standard clutch will slip majorly even on a low pressure turbo setup as you'll be going so far past it's torque rating, that's a gurantee lol. 170 is where it will start to slip knowing that renault build their clutches with a 40% increase factor in torque, although they aren't designed that way incase people want to modify it's down to wear factors and longevity of the clutch itself :)

I think it would work out more than that with the bits to get it working. Its probably a pain in the hoop for everyday use.
