Mines in next week....again.
After the debacle with the previous dealer, RUK have been in good contact with me by phone, text, mail, and theyve pre-arranged an inspection at another dealer which is local to me but I didnt even know about.

The case is on RUK's radar, and the Customer Service Manager will be following up with the garage afterwards, so theyve been asked, best attention please!

Be nice to find a decent proper Renault service garage.

Just make sure they dont send u to any of the co op renault garages, they are shocking

Fcuk me.

It is one of them.......
Any of the others means like a day off work to get it there and pick it back up.

And I can think of much better things to do on my day off than sitting being ignored at a Renault garage.

I'll just expect nothing and see what they say.
If they do bugger all, then thats it, I'll "fix" it myself.

Only thing is Renault wrote to me saying if I didnt get it looked at again after the retards at Mansfield 'looked' at it, that any further problems in that area of the engine may not be covered under warranty as there is a problem that I am aware of and have not had sorted.

Thing is, Renault dont even have a proper fix for it.

Probs be calling in at Honda on the way back to see what CR-Z's they have on sale.
7 years of Hondas, and NO silly problems.

All the co ops round there are rubbish.

Have u seen my rant about co op? Granted it was the derby one but my mate went to notts with his clio 200 and from the sounds of things they were even worse.

Need to book mine in for this and the abs light is on oh yh and the centre section of the exhaust has gone to dam I love French cars lol

I've experienced the Mansfield and Nottingham co-ops before. They were terrible. Though the Nottingham one did ok for a friend of mine recently, so they *might* have turned a corner.

Here is my home made solution.
It should work better than the foam sealing

Mine leaks, I had a look after I washed it last night [emoji34], how do I remove the coil? Do I need to disconnect the battery? Are any specialist tools required?

Mine also leaks.
I've had to replace coil no.4 already but not got chance to seal the scuttle panel yet.

Get yourself a 1/4 drive rachet, extension & 8mm socket to remove the coil. :)

I will be putting a bead of tiger seal over the gap to stop the water from getting out.
