Love, love, love this photo would make a great wallpaper!

Thanks Leanne, Fabio.

Yes, it is set as my wallpaper  . Early winter sunrise and a graduated filter helped

Recent developments :)

Apex springs fitted and now settled out at 315mm rear and 320mm front (hub center to arch top). Tracking setup but the front camber is im-balanced side to side, so a pair of 14mm Eibach excentric bolts have just gone order to get it right.

Inspired from a question by James Jra3d. Front foglights linked to main beam, with the addition of a relay to power them which makes quite a difference when on country backroads.

Whenever the main beam is on (or flashed) the front fogs illuminate. When the fogs are on, main beam is unafected.

Flash (with fogs linked), Sidelights, Sidelights and fogs, Dip beam, Main beam (with fogs linked).
How it was done >>here<<

Clio172 phase 1 airbox tried for size. It fits but needs some work to get the best out of it as the intakes are next to the battery and its tray. Lashing it straight in with a paper filter, it seemed a backwards stem from the BMC CDA filter. Theres a BMC element to go in it but testing will have to wait

Imagine the can, forwards of the clips remade from carbon, with a single 60x200mm scoop pointing forwards over the top of the radiator and almost filling the triangular space between filter housing and battery.

The non Gordini 17" cup alloys - Anthracite grey- 205-110

The 15" Speedlines are Speedlines Anthrasite grey. What paint code they use, I don't know.

Just read through this thread and this car is awesome. Really like the 2118 Speedlines on the 133, so much so I might have to find a set for our Twinky. I assume these are the same size as the ones the Clio 172 and 182 guys fit?

Any photos of the car with the lowering springs on?

Thanks  i'm nearly as green as your 200.

No pictures with the springs on yet as it has been realy filthy, to the point where Webobs car would look clean :( It was completely washed, de-tarred and sealed etc on Thursday, as well as putting the 17's back on. But I came offshore on Friday so not had any time for pics. Karl has pics of his on the Apex springs.

Yes, I beleive the 2118 are the same as the Clio ones... 7x17, ET43 4x100pcd 60.1center bore. 195/55/15 (as fitted) or 195/50/15 tyres. They are fine if you can live without center caps but they certainly trap a lot of dirt in the spoke receces.

Take one Clio 197 Ph1 filter housing

chop the middle out of it, leaving just the base and a top ring to clip onto the top of the intake

Make up a carbon tube and then wrap the can in a couple of layers of carbon. Make a duct to fill the large gap above the radiator, where the original scoop was... Cut a large hole in the new can and join the two parts together.

BMC filter element installed

Theres about 1mm either side, between the lid and the battery, lid and cable connector

It's just a little bit bigger than the 70/130 CDA :?

Certainly a lot of work has gone into the induction setup on this badboy. Looks tip top!

Sound wise, it's practicaly the same as the carbon BMC, which if hardly surprising as it has carbon sidewalls with plastic end caps. Still a bit more work planned to make more use of the scoop area and also ease the flow over the top of the radiator

Back to back tests and trying to time the two videos with a stop watch shows the CDA and the new airbox are evenly matched, unlike the unmodified box with a new paper filter which hardly wanted to pull above 5000 revs

It was mapped by Paul at RS tunning to the BMC CDA, so runs fine with it. 2000rpm to the shift light, up a slight incline in third
17.10 seconds as far as i can time with a stopwatch

20 minutes earlier and almost the same times, although not mapped for this
2000 - shift light = 17.22

Avaliability of a donor airbox would be the potential stopper unless the basic airbox is also used on something common (the center part with the actual intakes isn't used, so it doesn't need to be the 172 Ph1 or Espace V6 box which have extra ducts riveted on )

Well, I was hoping to see the Northern lights but a full moon and cloud cover foiled that plan :(

However I quite like these two multiple exposure shots.
1st frame about 2 seconds with side lights on
2nd frame about 12 seconds, lights off and using a torch to light up the car
3rd frame about 12 seconds with no lights
